In the summer of 2018, Harvard sociologist Theda Skocpol and her graduate students studied the grassroots resistance that grew up in response to Trump. The HUB for Progress was one of the groups studied. She has published several pieces about this data.
Lara Putnam, a history scholar in Pittsburgh, is also a writer of some of these.
